
VU FILMS
VU has been producing audiovisual projects since 2005 and gained widespread recognition in 2023 with the feature-length documentary The Wind Blows the Border. The film received several major international awards and was qualified for the 2023 Academy Awards.
In 2022, VU released the six-episode documentary series Dangerous Memory: Indigenous Rights and the Military Dictatorship, with each episode running 26 minutes.
VU also produced the documentary Operation Trojan Horse, which was screened at prestigious events including the 15th It's All True – International Documentary Film Festival, the World Social Forum in Porto Alegre, the 15th Videobrasil, FILE Cuba, FILE São Paulo, and the 28th São Paulo Biennial, among others.

Other projects include the documentaries Indigenous Peoples and the Military Dictatorship, selected through the Sala de Notícias grant from TV Futura, and Vlado and Birri – Encounters, which explores journalist Vladimir Herzog’s relationship with Latin American cinema, produced in partnership with the Vladimir Herzog Institute.
